Shabbat is the seventh Day of the Week. It is holy unto Elohiym. Shabbat is a sign/Convenant between Yahweh and Israel. It is prepetual from generation to generation. For Israel not to keep Shabbat is a sin.

Israel is a perpetual Covenant people. We honor The Creator and keep Shabbat holy by obeying the Law. Shabbat/Sabbath is the Fourth Law/Commandment.

 

Shabbat means REST. Relax, praise, worship at HOME... Leviticus 23:3. No work, activities. That includes cooking, cleaning, driving, online social media, shopping, gardening...

 

Roman Emperor Constantine changed "Sabbath" from Saturday to Sunday. Christianity honors this false day of Sol/Ra Worship. Ashkenazi Jews changed "Sabbath" from a day of rest to a day of going to synagogue. Other camps, group religions follow Judaism Saturday Worship. Many Shabbat/Sabbath scriptures were altered to "fit".

 

Leviticus 23:3...dwellings in Hebrew means MA'OWN... home, habitation. Ma'own has the gematria value of the number 7. This is the number of perfection, completion. It is the number of Shabbat, Rest. Shabbat completes the week. Honor Shabbat at home, dwellings.
